The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released important information concerning the registration process for candidates preparing for the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The registration exercise involves several stages, including obtaining a JAMB Profile Code, purchasing the approved e-PIN and completing registration at an accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.

When Will JAMB Form Be Out for 2027?

JAMB announced 31 January 2027 as the commencement date for the 2027 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) registration exercise. From this date, prospective candidates could begin the approved registration process for the examination and Direct Entry admission exercise.

Candidates should note that JAMB registration is not simply a matter of filling out an online form. The process includes profile creation, payment through approved channels and biometric registration at an accredited CBT centre.

The 2026 JAMB registration exercise commenced on 31 January 2027. Candidates who intended to participate in the UTME were expected to begin their registration preparations from this date.

Before starting, candidates should have their NIN, personal information, proposed course and institution choices ready.

JAMB 2027 Registration Deadline

18th March 2027

The stated registration deadline was 18th March 2027. Candidates were expected to complete their registration before the closing date rather than waiting until the final day.

Registering early also gives candidates more time to resolve problems involving their NIN, profile code, payment or biometric capture if any issue occurs.

JAMB 2027 Registration Fee

₦4,700

The stated JAMB 2027 registration fee is ₦4,700. Candidates should, however, distinguish the examination registration fee from other possible charges associated with approved services, such as optional mock examination participation or CBT.
