okoto State has 11 accredited JAMB CBT registration centres for the 2027 UTME registration exercise. Nine of these centres are located within Sokoto metropolis, while the remaining two are situated in Tambuwal Local Government Area. The accredited centres include the JAMB State Office (for registration services only), Blue Crescent Schools CBT Centre, Shehu Shagari College of Education, Total ICT Centre, Sokoto Education Development Trust Fund (SEDFT) CBT Centre, Sokoto State University CBT Centre, Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic ICT Centre, Usmanu Danfodiyo University ICT Centre, Usmanu Danfodiyo University CBN Hall Pro Metric ICT Centre, and two Penta M&F Technical Services Ltd CBT Centres in Tambuwal.

Candidates assigned to Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUS) should note that the institution operates two separate CBT facilities on its main campus: the ICT Centre at Dundaye and the CBN Hall Pro Metric ICT Centre. These are different examination venues, and candidates should carefully check the exact centre stated on their JAMB registration slip before travelling. Likewise, Shehu Shagari College of Education has two nearby CBT facilities in the Farfaru area—the college’s own CBT centre and the Total ICT Centre located opposite the Staff Secondary School—so candidates should ensure they report to the correct location.

Candidates living outside Sokoto metropolis, especially those in Tambuwal, Kebbe, Goronyo, and other distant local government areas, should plan their journeys carefully. Tambuwal is located approximately 96 kilometres from Sokoto city and is the only LGA outside the state capital with accredited CBT centres. Since most candidates are usually assigned to centres within Sokoto town, travelling arrangements should be made well in advance instead of waiting until the morning of registration or examination.

Before leaving for their registration or examination venue, candidates should confirm their assigned CBT centre by logging into the JAMB portal and reprinting their registration slip. The slip clearly displays the exact name and address of the assigned centre, helping candidates avoid reporting to the wrong venue, especially where multiple CBT centres operate within the same area.

On the day of registration or examination, candidates should come with their JAMB registration slip, a valid means of identification such as a NIN slip, National ID card, Voter’s Card, or International Passport, any required O’Level result, and a passport photograph if requested. Candidates are advised to arrive before 7:00 a.m., particularly at busy centres around Usmanu Danfodiyo University and the Farfaru axis, where heavy traffic is common during the early weeks of registration.
