The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) rescheduled the 2027 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from 5th April to 10th April 2027. The adjustment was made to provide additional time for final preparations, including the implementation of new innovations and improvements designed to strengthen the examination process.

The Mock UTME is intended to give eligible candidates an opportunity to become familiar with the computer-based testing environment before sitting for the main examination. Candidates who were scheduled for the mock examination were expected to confirm their assigned date, time and venue before travelling to the examination centre.

Eligibility for the JAMB Mock UTME

Participation in the JAMB Mock UTME was not automatic for every candidate who registered for the 2027 UTME. The mock examination was specifically for candidates who selected the mock examination option during their UTME registration at an approved JAMB CBT centre.

Candidates who did not indicate their interest in taking the mock examination during registration were therefore not expected to participate in the exercise. Selecting the mock option during registration was an important part of establishing eligibility.

The mock examination was primarily an opportunity for candidates to experience the CBT environment and identify areas where they might need additional preparation before the main UTME.

How to Reprint Your JAMB Mock Exam Slip

Candidates who were eligible for the mock examination needed to print their examination slips to confirm important details such as their examination date, scheduled time and assigned centre.

The examination slip was particularly important because candidates could not safely rely on their preferred CBT centre or an earlier registration location as confirmation of where they would write the mock examination. JAMB’s assigned examination details on the slip were the information candidates needed to follow.

Candidates should use the official JAMB portal rather than unofficial websites or individuals claiming to provide examination slips.

Step 2: Enter Your JAMB Details

On the slip-printing page, provide the requested candidate information. Depending on the available option, this may include your JAMB Registration Number or email address.

Make sure the information entered corresponds with the details used during your JAMB registration.

Step 3: Print the Examination Slip

After submitting the required information, select the option to print the examination slip.

The slip should be reviewed carefully after printing. Candidates should check their name, registration details, examination date, time and venue and immediately take.
